Laura MacFarline, a native of Presque Isle, graduated from Gorham High School, Gorham, Maine and attained her degree at the University of Maine in Presque Isle. Laura has years of experience in the medical field, applying her training as a medical secretary and transcriptionist at The Aroostook Medical Center and Washburn Health Center. She added clinical experience to her skills while working at a private medical practice in Caribou, Maine and then accepted a position as office manager for a local dental practice. Following the high school graduation of her three sons Matthew, Daniel, and Joshua from their home school program, Laura accepted a position at The Aroostook Medical Center where she worked in the Communication Center, dispatched for Crown Ambulance and Lifeline, and also worked as a secretary and registration specialist in the Emergency Department. Laura feels blessed to be working once again in an office setting where she has the opportunity to work with the team at Northern Prosthetics & Orthotics and make a difference in the quality of life for patients and their families in the community. Laura and her husband Bruce reside in Presque Isle.
